Take 5 with thrive

An occasional, informal newsletter where we stay in touch and share some interesting things.
July 2015

Hello again!

The thrive team have had a busy, but very productive few months, since my last email to you. We've been researching, writing, recording, coaching, training, consulting, facilitating and speaking; working with some great existing clients and welcoming some exciting new ones into our world too.

So, I've made sure to keep today's email short and focus on the most interesting highlights for you!

I'll be in touch again soon; until then, enjoy your summer!

Feedforward: Your Questions Answered.
- by Ann Flaherty
Earlier this year, we told you about some research that makes the case for changing our approach to performance conversations; in particular switching from traditional feedback to a "feedforward" structure. We've been asked a few questions since then, so in this post, we'll share some practical tips to help you try it out.  Read the full blog here >>

MBTI® Update
Interesting happenings in the world of the MBTI®

OPP Conference
On June 19th, I was delighted to speak at OPP's MBTI
® User Conference in London, on the topics of Conflict and Innovation. If you weren't there, don't worry; here's a special bonus video I recorded for the attendees, with some additional insight on the topics.

You can also watch a video blog I recorded for OPP, explaining how "Innovation is in Everyone's DNA".
What We're Up To
Just some of the projects we're excited about

As I said, we are busy with a range of client activities right now, but today I thought I'd focus on just a couple of particularly interesting items:
  • Our research (with our partners, CPP Inc.) on Type® and Influencing is moving along nicely. In the end, we collected over 3,500 global responses and are in the process of "going deeper" with these people now, through additional surveys and interviews.  We're very excited to share our findings with you after September!
  • We're increasingly being asked to speak at conferences and events, so we thought we'd set up a "speaking" page on our website that outlines some of our experiences and suggested topics. It's just a simple page for now, but click here to take a look!
What can we help YOU with?  Drop us a line to talk about it!
