Corporate Volunteers @ Vicky Park
Last month saw the height of our corporate volunteering events with seven groups attending Victoria Park to carry out a number of different tasks.

Societe Generale, HSBC, UBS and Beazley Bank all helped to weed, tidy and lay a thin layer of woodchip mulch to a variety of different areas of East Park including our Old English Garden and the meadows by the canal side. A great job all round!

A second group from
Beazley Bank did an amazing job of removing all the seasonal flowers from the beds around Burdett Coutts Fountain and putting down a layer of terram to ensure the beds are ready for refurbishment and replanting.

Chaucer PLC. did an incredible job of weeding and creating a Woodland Walk within the west side of the park (see picture above). What a team and what an amazing space for our park users!

A massive thank you to them all!

We wouldn't be the 'People's Park' without the help of the people!
