WISH Announcements
Build Day Finale!
We held our last Build Day session of this quarter on Saturday, and we are so proud of our members for all the cool projects they created! They were able to learn and personally utilize 3D-printing, soldering, and Arduino programming skills to develop amazing light-up projects. Great job everyone! Stay tuned to see what our Tech team has planned for the future!
Herbie Preschool Project
[message from Prof. John Seng]

For this project, we are looking for a CSC/SE major (and possibly 1 more CPE) to develop an interactive trailer attachment to Herbie for Cal Poly preschool children visits.  Herbie is an autonomous robot that drives around the computer science building.  The trailer would be constructed to resemble a children's museum-type display teaching about motors and gears.  It will also have an LCD display that could show very basic STEM ideas while the preschoolers are following the robot around (with potential machine learning demos).  There is currently an ME student committed.

At the moment, I am looking for 3 students total to get this project started and funded.  This could be as a Winter/Spring senior project or a 2 quarter CSC400 (2 units per quarter).  We have to put together a 3-page grant proposal (outline is mostly done) due 11/15 so that we can get the project funded.
Airtable New Grad Software Engineering Open House & Opportunities

My name is Caroline and I am a Recruiting Coordinator at Airtable. Airtable is currently hiring for entry-level software engineers graduating in Spring 2023 to start working in mid-summer 2023.

Airtable is working on the next computer revolution: one where anyone – even without technical training – can create customized applications that fit their needs, build more interconnected teams, and take part in a growing community of people who share what they create. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Francisco, Airtable powers teams at more than 300,000 organizations around the world. Our most recent funding round valued Airtable at $11.7 billion and raised $735 million in additional capital, and we're just getting started!

The Role:
You can find the job description for the Software Engineer, New Grad role here

We’ve temporarily taken down the posting from the website due to a high volume of applicants, but if anyone in your organization would like to apply, please have them send their resume to me at, and I will follow up on next steps to begin the interview process.
