2021/2022 School Calendar

The school office is typically open in the summer from 8:00 to 3:00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  However, due to meetings and vacations the office maybe periodically closed.  Because of this, it is best to call first.  802.295.8647.
Thank you for a fabulous year!  We know that it was not easy, but all of your encouragement and support was instrumental in helping us successfully complete the school year.

Field day was a huge success.  It was so nice to bring this fun community building event back.

A special thank you to the Edward Jones for sponsoring our t-shirts, Home Depot for providing the boats, the Hartford Recreation Department for loaning us the dunk tank, the Hartford Fire Department for filling the dunk tank, and Fogg's for donating soap for the slip & slides.

Summer Food Program

The Hartford Community Coalition is looking forward to their 6th summer food program that will provide free lunches from June 16 - August 13 to children and adults in our community. Meals will be available for pickup each weekday  (except Monday, July 5) at 5 distribution sites. Meals will always be available, but if you or someone you know might potentially utilize this program or want more information completing this short survey will greatly help us to know how much food to order and prepare. We imagine this number might change, but appreciate initially knowing this information.

**If you live in a subsidized housing location in Hartford, you do not need to fill out this form. Instead, please be in touch with your case manager and we will look forward to seeing you this summer!

Hartford Libraries Summer Reading 2021
Report Carts are available on Infinite Campus.  If you need assistance with accessing them, please e-mail Becky Wood.
We expect to return to a full day of school (8:00 to 2:35) next year.  Once we receive return to school guidelines from the state of Vermont in August, more information will be provided about drop-off/pick-up times and procedures.

Hello Hartford Families!

The State of Vermont will be issuing Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) cards to help with students’ food costs over the summer months. P-EBT benefits are funds provided on an electronic benefit transfer card that a household may use to purchase food items at grocery stores, convenience stores, online retailers and farmers markets where 3SquaresVT (SNAP) benefits are accepted. For families receiving 3SquaresVT, P-EBT benefits will be added to existing EBT cards.  Families who have already received a P-EBT card this school year will have the Summer P-EBT benefit added to their existing card.  For other families, you will receive a special P-EBT card from the Vermont Department for Children and Families for students who qualify.  Households will receive a one-time allotment of $375 per eligible student. The Summer P-EBT benefit will be issued in late July 2021.

Pricing Programs: Eligibility for the benefit depends on a child’s eligibility for free and reduced school meals. All children are able to receive free meals this year due to special COVID-19 waivers obtained by the State. However, to receive the P-EBT benefit, students must either have an approved free and reduced meal application on file or have been directly certified for free school meals. Students may be directly certified for free meals if the household received 3SquaresVT or Reach Up benefits or because the student is state-placed foster, migrant, homeless, runaway or participates in a Head Start program.  If you are not already qualified for free and reduced price meals, you may still submit a free and reduced meal application now to see if you are eligible for the Summer P-EBT benefit. Please visit student-support/nutrition/ school-programs/free-and- reduced-meals to fill out a Meal application for 2020-2021 and send to Nancy Raymond (See email address below)

For households who have already received the P-EBT benefit this year, there is nothing more that you need to do, unless you would like to update your mailing address or head of household.  In that case, contact  Nancy Raymond, .  For eligible households that have not yet received the benefit this year, please contact Nancy Raymond to check that your mailing address, head of household, and student date of birth are correct. You can find out more about P-EBT benefits by visiting  https://dcf.vermont. gov/esd/covid19/P-EBT.
