Marketing and Social Media Internship @ Champlain Valley Hops
Champlain Valley Hops is the largest hop farm in New England. CVH is passionate about local agriculture and would like to give regional brewers greater access to local ingredients. We are looking for one or two part-time marketing interns to join our growing team. This individual should be passionate about local beer and agriculture, creative, self motivated, and have some experience with digital marketing strategies.

DRM is seeking an intern with a strong interest in the legislative process to join our government affairs team for a semester in Montpelier. Our Government and Public Affairs Group (GAPA) represents a wide range of non-profit organizations, trade associations and national companies. We are a fast-paced, engaged and collaborative group that is actively involved on behalf of our clients with most of the major issues facing the legislature.

Forest School Intern @ ReTribe
ReTribe currently has openings for interns in our Forest School programs for children ages 6-12. Interns will learn mentorship skills from experienced naturalists and childcare staff. We are looking for people with a desire to teach outdoor education, who are comfortable being outdoors all day in any weather, and who are self-sufficient and confident in the woods.

Would you like to learn about the legislative process, tracking issues related to climate change, land use, environmental justice, clean water, forests and wildlife? The Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC), Vermont Conservation Voters (VCV) and the Vermont Planners Association (VPA) are seeking a Legislative Intern to help track forward-looking environmental legislation moving through the State House during the 2022 legislative session.

Supporting Entrepreneurs with Alumna Madeline Brumberg
Join us for a dive into entrepreneurship with Madeline Brumberg, UVM'12, SI-MBA '18! After graduating with an Environmental Sciences degree, Madeline worked as a GIS tech doing hands-on work on environmental development. She then joined the SI-MBA program, where she completed her MBA practicum in with the Essilor Group Base of Pyramid Innovation Lab and interned with the VT Works Management Company. She then dove into the world of building futures for entrepreneurs. As the Strategic Partnerships lead for VT Innovation Commons, she helped guide Vermont as a beacon for social enterprises. Most recently, she serves as the Program Manager for the Center for Women & Enterprise.

Academic Internship Credit

Register your Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 Internship for Academic Credit!
Students who secure an internship can register their experience for academic credit by enrolling in CDAE 296. Students can add this class at any point in the semester as long as they can intern at least 40 hours for 1 credit.
