Congrats on making it to finals week - the end of the semester is near!
If you're looking to indulge in some productive procrastination this week, consider applying to a spring or summer internship opportunity. There are exciting openings in youth development, advocacy, community outreach, planning and design!
New Internship Opportunities
Public Interest Interns @ Center for Science in the Public Interest
We offer a paid internship program for students to: gain substantial knowledge of the policy-making process and the role science plays; participate in group meetings and strategy brainstorming sessions; and obtain general research and communication skills by working closely with science, policy, legislative and outreach experts. We have the following remote internships available for Spring 2022: Healthy Food Access Internship, Sodium Monitoring and Evaluation Internship, and Data Collection & Research Internship.

Communications Intern @ City of Burlington
The Marketing and Communications intern will support the Church Street Marketplace and Business Support Marketing Coordinator in digital communications for both the Marketplace and Love Burlington brands. In this role you will get hands-on experience managing social media, web, and email platforms, participate in content creation, learn marketing strategy planning and brand management.

Youth Development Intern @ DREAM
Intern with DREAM and help us achieve our mission of closing the opportunity gap for marginalized communities. Interns will support DREAM's youth mentoring program through recruitment and onboarding of new mentors; develop and organize enriching program activities for youth and mentors; assist with transportation during weekly programming time; communicate with families of participants, and enroll new youth; and support other components of successful DREAM programming.

Organizing Intern @ Rights & Democracy
We are a member-led, people’s organization whose mission is to shift the political landscape through electoral and community organizing to ensure that the values and needs of our communities guide the policies of our government. Our Interns are the front lines of our field work, and in some cases, one of the only people speaking to community members about how they feel about our political and economic system and its connection to the air they breath, the water they drink and the support they receive in emergencies.

Community Resiliency Interns @ Town of Huntington
The Town of Huntington needs planning, design and implementation assistance for the creation of a community landscape and parkland along a tributary of the Huntington River. Several students are sought to help spearhead the planning, design and re-imagining for this important and valued town resource. This will be an opportunity to initiate and implement a comprehensive process to design and detail a new vision for a community “place” while restoring a natural landscape.

Farm to Institution Intern @ Vermont Agency of Agriculture
The Agricultural Development Division of the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets is a small and dynamic team tasked with supporting all forms of Vermont food, farm and forestry businesses. The Farm to Institution Intern is expected to work with the program manager to customize a workplan based primarily on the intern’s unique interests and their professional/educational goals.

Marketing Intern @ Vermont Small Business Development Center
We are seeking a creative and innovative intern with excellent communication skills to help us with a variety of digital marketing projects for the spring term. Work may include: help making our "Start Your Own Business" workshop into compelling, engaging content; reviewing/refining presentations; assisting with online webinars & events; and other marketing projects as needed.

January 2022 Entrepreneurship Immersion Program is a 2-week hybrid immersion program where students will attend lectures by real-world entrepreneurs, participate in experiential learning projects with technology startups, and learn what it takes to build and scale a successful company. Students earn a Badge through Northeastern University and there are high-value scholarship opps.

UVM Internship Scholarships help students who want to participate in a career-related opportunity but need financial assistance in order to accept an internship. Scholarship funds are intended to help defray costs of living during a summer internship.
