New Internship Opportunities
Intern @ Adirondack Land Trust
Our 2022 intern will conduct research into printed and electronic records and use GIS and data-entry skills to quantify conservation values that we wish to catalog. They will build systems, report templates, GIS tools, and data entry forms so we can better capture this data in our work going forward. Our intern will also assist in communications, translating findings for a general audience, for sharing by social media and other formats. Some less-measurable conservation values may also require community outreach to gather perspectives on a project’s impact.

Working closely with another intern, along with our Director and Marketing Consultant, you will complete marketing and community development tasks as part of the Farm to Fork Nutrition and the Hearth to Table Flatbread Fridays Programs. Examples of marketing tasks include setting up and taking photos of plated meals and other products and designing Social Media posts.

Summer Intern @ Milk with Dignity Standards Council
The Milk with Dignity Standards Council is a non-profit organization that secures the human rights of dairy workers and improve the conditions under which they labor. We are seeking an intern to assist with research regarding workers' rights issues, including workplace health and safety topics; research regarding health impacts of certain housing conditions; conduct interviews in English or Spanish with farmworkers; do data entry and analysis; & other projects as needed.

Assist Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Coordinator in all aspects of Pete's online marketing program including Photos, Graphics, SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, User Experience and Web Analytics. Photography of RVs, Monitoring and reporting regularly on keeping web content current and accurate, videography, and Assisting with promo material design & procurement are a few areas that the intern will play a contributing role.

Interns are an integral part of our Senate operation and contribute greatly to the Senator’s work on behalf of Vermont and the nation. Senate interns have the unique privilege of gaining an insider’s perspective on the legislative and representative process.Interns will help respond to constituent requests for information and assistance; join visits with Vermont organizations; help organize and staff public meetings and events, track local news stories, and much more.

Events Internship @ Vermont Professionals of Color Network
The Vermont Professionals of Color Network (VT PoC) is a statewide organization with the mission to advance networking and career development opportunities for its members, to increase civic engagement, to grow generations of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) leaders to join the ranks of leadership and management in the state of Vermont. The Events intern will assist with various projects as assigned by the Director of Operations and Development to plan and produce these events, including planning, promotion, and on-site assistance.
