Support our Meeting Community by participating in Giving Tuesday
Dear Friends,
Greetings! It has been wonderful to have so many of you return in person to Meeting for Worship, the Adult Class, and Children's Religious Education. With strong support of Meeting volunteers, we have been able to include those at a distance and those unable to attend in person for other reasons on Zoom. We are a blessed community.
On this tenth anniversary of Giving Tuesday, we honor the spirit that inspires acts of generosity within our communities and encourages all people to support causes that matter to them. If you are choosing today to donate to nonprofits in your community, we hope Newtown Meeting will be among them.
Friends often ask for suggested amounts to give, and the following guidelines will help us meet our budget.
Families
$1,200/year or $100/month
Individual adult members
$660/year or $55/month
Young Adults (college or recent grads)
$60/year or $5/month
We recognize that Friends contribute as their circumstances permit. Please visit our Giving pagefor more information. We invite you to donate now either via PYM’s donation page or by mailing a check to Newtown Friends Meeting, P.O. Box 224, Newtown, PA 18940. If you have already given this fiscal year, thank you!
We are able to operate the building, use innovative technology, provide an engaging children's program, etc. because of your generous contributions. Let’s keep our Meeting a vital and viable spiritual presence in our lives.
