Please Pray and Partner for the Cuba 2019 Conference
Please pray for the four non-Cubans traveling to Jagüey Grande in Matanzas province (Just north of the Bay of Pigs) for our 13th Discipleship Conference in April. Several days prior to the conference, we will meet with our Cuban team of Facilitators for fellowship and to dive deeper into Biblical concepts to better equip them for their own ministries. This has proven to be a great team building experience!
Over the past 10 years we have witnessed how God is stirring our Cuban brothers and sisters, and look forward to sharing pictures and our adventures when we return.
INTRODUCING THE SPANISH DTI APP TO CUBA
Because it is challenging to print and transport the DTI manual throughout the island, we will be introducing the new Spanish version of the DTI app for handheld devices. When an internet connection is available, they can download the app, and be able to access all the lessons when they are not on line. (Click HERE to download the DTI App in Spanish or English.) NOTE that we still need to print manuals for the conference.

Pablo and Martha Garcia, Link International Ministries, Ensenada, MX
Logisticsare always a challenge, so pray that they don't hamper the conference, including obtaining our visas from the Cuban government in time to board the plane in Miami.
Please pray for the attendees -- Pastors, church leaders and the Cuban facilitators, that nothing would hinder the Holy Spirit.
Please pray for finances and consider whether God is prompting you to partner with us in this tactical way.
Cuban Pastors (including the Cuban Facilitators) have no financial means to attend the conference, since most receive less than $30/month.
DTI pays for the entire conference - lodging, meals, transportation, and the DTI Manuals, which they highly value.
The cost for the total 5 day conference is about $30 per attendee.
That makes the total need about $8,000. (200 attendees X $30 = $6,000, plus about $1500 for transportation and expenses for the traveling team, and $500 for the pre-conference for the Facilitators.
Cuban leadership needs 500 additional manuals after the conference, so each church can effectively implement and grow believers. This printing is in addition to the conference expenses. Amazingly, it costs only $1.50 per manual, versus $15.00 in the USA.
You can donate via check, bank draft or credit card:
100% of the proceeds will go to the Cuba Conference.

Each year we bringinexpensive reading glasses, because they are in short supply there.
Several years ago we noticed many attendees struggling to read their Bibles and the DTI manual. We had brought only a few inexpensive reading glasses, but saw their excitement and joy when they could clearly see the text.
If you want to donate reading glasses, click here to send us an email. and we'll provide you the details.)
Marriage Counseling Training by Pablo and Martha
The Garcia's will stay after the Conference for a two-day retreat to teach how to give pre-marital counseling and care for couples in crisis, patterned after their very successful marriage ministry in Mexico.
Their plan is to first minister to the women and men individually, then together as couples, followed by the final step to teach them how to use the counseling curriculum with others in their sphere of influence.

Our main goal has always been totrain local leadership so they can teach others (Equipping the Saints to spiritually mentor others) as we don't know how many more trips God will allow us to have. We've grown to love our brothers and sisters and have created life-long bonds that we cherish.
