Eduphoria Continues HB 4545 Support with Webinars

In our efforts to continue to support districts during the implementation of HB 4545, we have compiled helpful resources on ways Eduphoria will aid schools and teachers in instituting accelerated instruction plans. We are also hosting two more webinars in our HB 4545 series: one on assessment building and one on assessment-responsive pedagogy.

New Interactive Item Type: Drag & Drop 

Eduphoria is excited to bring you another interactive response question type: Drag and Drop. This question type allows students to view possible answer choices and to drag them to the appropriate box within a text question. Drag and Drop is our sixth addition to our interactive response question types, which include multi-select, constructed response, hot text, inline choice, and text entry

Teacher Incentive Allotment: Using Strive Appraisal Analysis to Improve Calibration

We are pleased to announce the new domain and dimension summary view in Appraisal Analysis to aid in identifying inflation in specific areas of the rubric. District leaders now have the option to filter to a specific domain or dimension to calibrate on the rubric. Additionally, soon district leaders will be able to view data by percentages as well as to export the data view to a spreadsheet.

Empowering Teachers through the Use of Aware Student Portfolios 

Effective methodologies for monitoring student growth are Student Learning Objective (SLO) and student portfolio practices. Teachers may monitor and adjust intervention and enrichment strategies at each learning milestone. 

The Aware student portfolio enables teachers to document student learning and make growth determinations. When paired with a Strive student growth goal, the student portfolio is an essential discussion point for coaching and professional evaluation. 

Regardless of how your district is measuring student growth, you may now capture student growth ratings in the summative document.

STAAR Data Files

As part of the contract transition from ETS to Cambium Assessment, Inc. (CAI) and NCS Pearson, Inc., ETS will be providing all necessary STAAR, STAAR Alternate 2, Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS), and TELPAS Alternate score data to CAI. Any districts that would like to retain copies of their individual district results for STAAR should download those results from the Reports > Results in the ETS Assessment Management System prior to August 31, 2021.
