We are here to support our amazing educators and have some exciting updates to share.

In order to better support data analysis needs with these new interactive item types you can now preview the question in data analysis.

We answered your requests for an online ruler solution. Our ruler is enhanced so that the test author can determine the sizing of the ruler to properly measure any image added to an assessment.

For additional support related to building a test you can now search the item bank by multiple selection questions.

Aware Navigation Updates

We’re excited about the new updates to Aware, but to minimize disruptions while we continue our upgrades, all new features are accessible in a separate Aware Beta space. Users who are trained in and comfortable with Aware Classic will continue to have access.

Through June 2023, individual educators will have full control to work in Aware Beta or Aware Classic.

Aware Student Portfolio Enhancements

The student portfolio tool in Aware has been enhanced and it will now support data from assessments. The current assessment types supported include:

• STAAR/EOC Assessments

• Local Assessments/Rubric Assessments

• NWEA MAP Assessments

• TELPAS Assessments

As an additional support for transparency the student portfolio will be added to the student profile. Anyone with access to the student will be able to view the components and the final growth score associated with the portfolio.
