Dreamworld, and why peacemaking can't wait

In a single moment in time, relationships can be torn apart.

On Tuesday 25 October 2016 the lives of four people sharing the joy of a ride at Dreamworld tragically ended. As a result, relationships suddenly ended, families were forever changed, and millions of Australians were shocked and saddened. Read more

PeaceWise hubs

We want to pray for you

We really do believe prayer is essential to connecting us with God.  So every November, we dedicate the month to blessing you by praying specifically for you!

If you would like us to pray for you and bring your needs and concerns to our Heavenly Father, please let us know how we can pray for you. One of our Board members, Ministry Coordinators or staff members will be interceding for you every day of November. You can be assured that your request will be kept strictly confidential.

I'd like you to pray for me!

From Bruce

Last month, in this column, I said:

"None of us know when we might live our last day, and each day we have is one day closer to our Lord Jesus Christ returning, so we constantly everyone to make peace with each other and with God without delay."

The Dreamworld tragedy brings the urgency of dealing with any unresolved conflicts or broken relationships in our lives that much closer to home.

With Christmas approaching, I encourage you to seek to make peace in your relationships wherever you can.   Why not come to a hub for help?  Or, why not ask us to pray for you this month?

We consider it our privilege to serve and support you in your ongoing journey towards peace with others and peace with God.

Grace and peace to you in Jesus' name,

Bruce and all the team at PeaceWise

Bruce Burgess - National Director
