"Forgiveness isn't about them - it's about you!" Do you agree?
Your long-term friend has hurt you badly, you've been feeling resentful for months (years?), you'd like to 'get over it' and someone tells you to just 'forgive for yourself so you can move on - after all, in the end it's all about you not them."
How do you feel about this advice?
What is forgiveness and why practise it? Although foundational to the Christian worldview, it’s a concept we frequently misunderstand, and even more frequently struggle to live out. But the choice of forgiving or not when people hurt us is one we face all the time.
Is it right that in the end, forgiveness is just about me? Read more
Thankyou for your generosity - it's been huge
We are humbled by your super-generous response to our end of year appeal last year. In all, 57 different generous PeaceWise supporters gave a total of $13,279 towards our target of $40,000! Thankyou so much.
This makes a big difference to our ability to continue to help thousands of people build stronger relationships, rebuild broken ones and sow the blessings of a culture of peace across our nation.

Learn peacemaking in 2015 + invite a friend + book early and save
We look forward to all that God will do in 2015 and hope that we can share some of that time with you as you start or continue your PeaceWise journey.
All training locations in 2015 offer the courses of Personal Peacemaking and Conflict Coaching, with Mediation training also available everywhere except for Canberra. Plus Sydney is hosting Advanced Mediation this year!
Learn from our gifted, passionate and experienced trainers including Bruce Burgess, Elenne Ford, Steve Frost, Alan Kelshaw, Ted Kober and Wendy Konemann (your trainers vary based on the venue).
Take the next (or first!) step in your peacemaking journey as you learn lifeskills that will help you and the people you know. If you’ve been to our training, one of the most significant things you can do is share with others how it impacted you, and encourage others to come and be equipped to be peacemakers too.
Book now to take advantage of the early bird individual and group discounts available before it is too late!
Our hope is that every local Church and Christian school in Australia develop a culture of peace, transforming the lives of not only their those within their community but also impacting the world around them for the glory of God.
Although it is only February, we have already provided peacemaking training to a number of Christian organisations, churches and schools throughout Australia and have the privilege of sharing peacemaking with more in the months to come.
The advantage of bringing PeaceWise training to “your place” is that it’s cheaper, the event can be tailored to your context, everyone gets on the same page with the same language, concepts and commitment to build a culture of peace, and you build and reap the benefits of this shared experience together.

Hubs sprouting everywhere
PeaceWise hubs all over Australia are re-starting for the new year.
We are thrilled to have new hubs starting this year in Newcastle (first meeting coming up later this month!) and Beckenham (WA).
Hubs are a great way to connect with other peacemakers in your area, re-invigorate your peacemaking passion and refresh your peacemaking skills, so come to the next one nearest you and let’s journey together!
If you want to find out more about PeaceWise hubs generally or hub meeting dates and locations for the rest of the year check our website!
