Celebrate your fREADom to Read this Summer!

Summer Reading Club is underway at the Summersville Public Library and we are all having a blast! We kicked it off with 39 kids ages 5-10 registered.  Registration continues throughout the program which ends July 27, 2016.  The first week we played some Minute to Win it games and will follow up with DIY mazes, painting without brushes, games of all kinds and our grand finale Fairy Tale Olympics.

Can't make it to our activities but still want to help your kids avoid the summer slide? Check out these great tips:

But WAIT! There's more!
This summer we are offering an adult summer reading program too. All the details are here.  Pick up a game card from the library and get reading!

Thank you to everyone (about 500!!) who responded to our call for donations for flood victims.  We moved 9 truck loads one day and thanks to a generous use of the Classic Cabinet shop's box truck, we filled that too!  We couldn't have done it without some great volunteers too.

There are many ways to continue to help,
