January 14th: 'It's In the Bag' Art Event 

Ashford Park art event to benefit homeless shelter
Children ages 4-11 invited to draw, donate art supplies

Budding artists will have the opportunity to hone their talents while also giving back to the community at a free event on Sunday, Jan. 14, at 3 p.m. at the Ashford Park Community Building, 2980 Redding Road. Click here for more information. 

January 15th: MLK Day Dinner and Program at Lynwood Park

Brookhaven will host its third annual MLK Day Dinner and Program at Lynwood Park with a dinner and program Monday, Jan. 15, at 5:30 p.m. at the historic Lynwood Community Center, 3360 Osborne Road.

The event will feature DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond as keynote speaker, with additional speakers to be announced. Click here for more information.
