President Message

Greetings everyone,

Spring is upon us and although it's been a slow start, warmer days are ahead.
There are many events on in the next month or so and photographically they are worth attending.

I am always drawn to the Dandenong Ranges to see the colourful displays and another area I love especially at this time of the year is West and South Gippsland.
Fresh green and lush hills and valley’s draw our photographic eye and especially if we rise early enough to catch rising mist.

This is a re-birth time of year and one to sharpen our artistic senses.
Keep in mind that coming up shortly in November is the VAPS annual meeting, and if we could have at least one representative

From each club or society that we be ideal. It’s your association and we love feedback. Our aim to is further promote and raise awareness.

Of the huge following that photography has in Victoria and each one of us can contribute to that success.

All the best to every club and Society for the coming weeks.

Warm regards,

Ian Rolfe
President VAPS

The exhibition is suited to all ages, but it is intended that our seniors will particularly enjoy the images.
Everyone welcome – no charge, and a tea or coffee with a biscuit will be provided.

The exhibition will be held in the upstairs gallery at Club’s building, on the weekends of 19th & 20th and 26th & 27th October, 2019, between the hours 10 am to 4 pm.

The Melbourne Camera Club is located on the cnr. Dorcas and Ferrars Streets, South Melbourne.
