Millcraft Chief Financial Officer David Hegeman Named to Crain’s Cleveland Business's CFO of the Year Class of 2015

Cleveland, Ohio, October 23, 2015:  Millcraft Chief Financial Officer David Hegeman was named to Crain’s Cleveland Business’s CFO of the Year Class of 2015. For the ninth year in a row, Crain’s honored the region’s top 25 fiscal officers who were selected with the help of an esteemed panel of judges, including Brian Broadbent, president and CEO of BVU: The Center for Nonprofit Excellence; Charlie Cooley, former CFO of Lubrizol; and Ralph Della Ratta, managing partner and CEO of Western Reserve Partners.


“For so many great reasons, Dave Hegeman is a standout – a truly superlative individual, who is highly regarded by all who know him,” said Travis Mlakar, Millcraft’s president, in nominating his head of finance.  “Dave consistently provides the company’s leadership with the solid facts and information needed to guide the business to success, while constantly keeping the focused on improving its processes and overall performance.  Under his guidance, we have increased profitability by nearly 20% and recorded the most profitable year in company history in 2015.”

Crain’s 2015 CFO of the Year class is featured in the October 19 print issue of Crain’s, as well as on the Crain's website. All 25 class members were honored at an awards reception on October 22 in Cleveland, where Robert Matejka of RPM International received the Golden Ledger Award posthumously.
