Greetings MGS Families,
This week is a busy week at Monroe Grade School. Tomorrow is our Annual Jog-A-Thon. We're excited to see all the kids out running and being physically active to raise money for their school. Don't forget to donate to the student(s) of your choice. Pledge packets are due back no later than tomorrow. We can always use extra volunteers during this event so please let us know if you can help.
Thursday night is our annual Science Night from 6:30p-8:00p. This event is hosted by Oregon State University and The PTG is providing pizza. Skip making dinner and bring the whole family out to enjoy this fun and educational night. We still need volunteers to serve pizza during this event. Please let us know if you are able to help out!
It's also time to nominate your new PTG officers for the 2018-19 school year. Please email your nominations to monroeptg@gmail.com. We will vote in the new officers at our next regular PTG meeting in November. The following positions are to be filled: President, Vice President(shared position by 2 teaching staff), Treasurer, Secretary and Public Relations.
Don't forget there is no school this Friday, Oct. 12th.
Our next PTG meeting is November 6 @ 5:30p in the library. We look forward to seeing you there!

Jog-A-Thon
What a great way to get our students physically active and give them an opportunity to take ownership in raising money for their school. This is our largest and primary fundraiser of the year. Packets will be going out this week. Check out the flyer below to see the awesome prizes students can earn this year.
