Metro is exploring a possible ballot measure to raise more funds for affordable housing.  The Welcome Home Coalition will be a member of a newly formed Community Stakeholder Advisory Meeting that will meet monthly in the next several months. The Stakeholder Advisory table will provide input to Metro staff and the Chief Operating Officer of the program framework for a potential regional housing measure in 2018. The group will articulate desired community outcomes that should guide program activities, and provide feedback on program scenarios. The first meeting is Jan. 30th 7:30 am - 9:30 am at Metro, 600 NE Grand Avenue and is a public meeting.
