Let's welcome our neighbors home.
In a community as fortunate as ours, it is our responsibility to ensure our neighbors have a home.
Housing is a basic human right. Through housing, a sense of safety, stability and peace can flourish. Housing is the foundation for our communities to thrive.
It is the simple basics that matter most: a place to receive mail, a place to find warmth, a place to rest, a place to feel welcomed and a place to call home.
The Welcome Home Coalition's movement is strong, thanks to you. Together, our efforts helped pass the Metro Bond: Yes for Affordable Housing in the November election. This bond will create housing for up to 12,000 of our neighbors across the Portland Metro region. However, there is much work to be done to ensure that housing is equitable and accessible.
When you support the Welcome Home Coalition, you work with us to create prosperous communities, smart schools, healthy families and a strong economy for all our neighbors.
Please consider making a donation to the Welcome Home Coalition's Give!Guide campaign through Willamette Week. If everyone on this email list donates just $10 through the Give!Guide we will more than meet our goal of $15,000 before the end of the year so we can continue to bring people home.
