"Too often we value growth over freedom." Our reflection this week on developing freedom and autonomy, curated by Dave Radparvar of Holstee.

Rework

I am many years too late to this book, but am very much enjoying it. It's a refreshing stance on work and building a company—one focused on quality, process, and freedom rather than the standard growth, scaling, and fundraising approach we hear about so frequently.

A Guide to the Good Life

There are some things in life you can change; for everything else there is Stoicism—the freedom to separate yourself from the emotions and outcomes that are beyond our control. This is my favorite work on the topic.

Freedom, James Victore

Hanging in my living room and I love it.

As part of my own efforts to value the freedom in autonomy over obsession with growth, each Composure scarf is made and worn to reflect on perspectives worth embodying. Scarves and stories at alwayscomposure.com
