Symposium Series: Mark Your Calendar!

Chadron State College President Randy Rhine is the featured speaker for the first event of "Why We Assess: Looking Back on a Century of Continuous Improvement," a symposium series co-sponsored by the Teaching & Learning Center and the Assessment Office. The 7-part series features 12 CSC faculty and staff members discussing the history of quality improvement and its relevant application to higher education. David Nesheim, Interim Director of Assessment, announced the series last week  in his TLC blog article. [Read more.]
Pedagogical Model Preferred by Students
 
For several semesters, Drs. Lori Entzminger and Hank McCallum have implemented a learner-centered instructional model to engage students in their courses. Sign up for the TLC Faculty Seminar (scheduled for tomorrowOctober 11, 3-4:00 pm, in ADM 030) to learn more about their research using this inquiry-based approach and the data they've compiled regarding student preferences for the model. [Read more.]

Accessible online course design focuses on developing course content that is usable by all students.
