Book Review Club Gets Crackin'

Thanks to Josh Ellis, Assistant Professor of Applied Sciences, for suggesting a CSC Book Review Club. Josh will facilitate the club in 2016-2017 and invites you to explore the Teaching & Learning Center Collection then share your thoughts on what you are reading related to teaching and learning by publishing a book review on the TLC blog. Design for Learning: Ipevo Ziggi Doc Camera

Check in with Jereme Patterson's research on emerging technologies for enhancing teaching and learning. In his most recent blog post, Jereme highlights the Ziggi line of document cameras and its versatile design and potential, enhanced by Presenter software for classroom instruction. Promising Pedagogy

Since the fall of 2015, Assistant Professor of History Kurt Kinbacher has been investigating the use of "study table" to engage students. Blogging for Academics

Sam Ballard, IT Specialist, will conduct this year's final TLC workshop designed to expose participants to WordPress. Sign up to examine and discuss the proliferation of academic blogging and learn to apply strategies and techniques for maintaining a proper blog. Two multi-session workshops are scheduled, and there are a few seats left. Workshop 1 sessions meet Tuesday, April 12, 7:30-9:00 am and Tuesday, April 19, 7:30-9:00 am. Workshop 2 sessions meet Tuesday, April 26, 2:00-3:30 pm and Thursday, April 28, 2:00-3:30 pm. Did you know that you can check out equipment from the Teaching & Learning Center Equipment Library? This collection has everything from headsets to document cameras to micro-computers. The resource is now online for viewing and item checkout. [Read more.]
Summer Institute for CSC Faculty
