And we're off! I'm so excited that you've decided to join us for this journey to your Sweet Spot. This is about you taking care of you. Yay!

Week 1 is all about assessing where you are with heart health and food, and where you want to go. We'll also talk about food journals, which are one of our most effective tools, but only if used without judgement or restriction.

If you haven't already, print the Workbook and Checklist (in the Welcome and Resources, Getting Started section).

Any trouble with that, let me know as soon as possible, so you don't lose momentum!

To access the live Q&A

We'll do the live Q&A calls every Wednesday, 4-4:30pm Mountain Time. Click this link to access. (Meeting ID: 873 7141 1824, Passcode: 184394.) I'll copy the full Zoom invite below, but I'll send it to you every Wednesday morning as a reminder also.

The first call will be next Wednesday, September 29, and the last one will be December 1. (How is December 1 this close?)

If you can't make a live session you can always watch the recording. If Zoom is new to you, feel free to log on 10-15 minutes early next week and get comfortable. It's easy.

Bring all of your questions, from "How often should I keep a food journal?" to "I'm always hungry at night!" I'll ask the group to weigh in on some of those tougher challenges, because peer support can be just as valuable.

Facebook group

I'll also be in the private Facebook group, where you can share your questions, challenges, and wins, if you're a Facebook user. It's not critical, but it's an option for those who like to connect that way.

This week the videos are shorter and the workbook activities are longer. You might want to start with a walk outside to get inspired, or a nice warm drink, and really give some thought to where you want to go, and how better heart health and nutrition can help you get there.

Here in Alberta at least, the pandemic continues to be unpredictable, but at least this we can do.
