Hi there,


We're back on track! Hopefully this extra week left you feeling more caught up and ready to move forward with Week 3 of From Surviving to Thriving. This week is all about the question of how much to eat. We look at:

  • How to tune back into your body’s hunger and fullness cues because you're the best judge of how much food you need
  • Nourishing, heart-healthy snacks, which can help you manage hunger
  • Engaging the support of friends and family, who often tempt us to eat more, or sometimes guilt us over how much we eat, neither of which is helpful

The longest video is 11 minutes and the activities aren't too long: At least one day of the Hunger-Fullness Journal and if you like, personalize the snack list to make it your own.
 



I'm thrilled to report that we've had our first contribution in the Facebook group from someone other than me! Yay! Wendy shared an at-home workout program she describes as "a slow and friendly approach to getting moving again." Thank you!

My vision is that you'll be able to lean on each other for support and problem-solving, so this is our first step in that direction. Join us there if you haven't already, and please feel free to share other resources, success stories, and also challenges.
