Hi there,

Just a very short short story on the blog this week, in honour of Thanksgiving, about what happened when someone asked me about a family favourite food.


 

In our kitchen this week


ALL the tomatoes! We were the lucky recipients of tomatoes from friends' gardens, and we didn't manage to eat them all fresh, so I roasted the rest according to Canadian Chef Michael Smith's directions here.



They went on a pile of angel hair pasta with crumbled tofu one night and pan-fried chicken the next. Yum!
