Children's healthcare providers at St. Michael's Hospital develop social media accounts in 10 languages to support parents
A group of family doctors, paediatricians, behaviour therapists and other health specialists at Unity Health Toronto's St. Michael's Hospital have created accounts across Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok to support parents in 10 different languages. University Health Network's Toronto Rehab launches the second edition of its Telerehabilitation Toolkit
Toronto Rehab's Brain Rehab Program and the KITE Research Institute at the University Health Network (UHN) launched Version 2.0 of this toolkit after receiving feedback from users on the original version. This toolkit is free of charge and was created for rehabilitation organizations and providers worldwide to improve virtual rehabilitation care. Read more about this here
LEADERSHIP CHANGES
Terri Irwin is Trillium Health Partner's new Executive Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Executive
Irwin started this role on Jan. 9, 2023. Prior to this, she was the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Trillium Health Partners.

Anne Trafford announces retirement from Unity Health Toronto
Trafford, Executive Vice-President of Organizational Performance and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Unity Health, has announced that she will be retiring on July 7, 2023.

Laura Dawson appointed the Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto
Dawson is a Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and the Institute of Medical Science at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto (U of T). She is also a radiation oncologist and upper gastrointestinal cancer multi-disciplinary site lead at UHN's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Charmaine Williams appointed Dean of U of T's Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work
Along with this role, Williams will hold the Sandra Rotman Chair in Social Work. Read more about Williams' leadership and focus on equity work, and more on her new role here.
TAHSN RESOURCES
New TAHSN resource available on responding to learner mistreatment arising from patients, families or visitors
These resources include an official guideline and a quick reference flow chart for faculty, supervisors and learners at TAHSN hospitals on how to respond to an incident of mistreatment that a learner has experienced with a patient, patient's family member, or visitor. These resources were produced by the TAHSN Education (TAHSNe) Committee's Learner Mistreatment by Patients & Families Working Group, and approved by TAHSNe. These resources can be found here.

Beyond the Binary: Challenging Sex and Gender Variables in Science

Convergence2023: The Michener Institute of Education at UHN 4th Annual Education Conference
Dates: Feb. 15 - 16, 2023
Registration is now open to all TAHSN organizations. The keynote speaker for Feb. 15 is Stella Ng, a scientist, educator, practitioner and leader in the field of health professions education & practice. The conference is open to all clinicians, education researchers, learners and academic educators across TAHSN.
