A Message from our Co-Presidents

Dear WGSD Members,

With recent world events we are reminded of the importance of community.  We are incredibly grateful for our Women Give San Diego community and for the friendships that have been fostered. We are also grateful for the impact we have made through our shared passion to advocate for the economic self-sufficiency and security of low-income women and girls in San Diego County.
It was a pleasure connecting with so many of you at the November 2nd Mix & Mingle Fall Fling event at the beautiful New Americans Museum.  The exhibits were stunning (and we even got to watch a new exhibit being installed), and it was a lovely space for a relaxed evening of food, drink and conversation.

We hope you will join us for the December 7th holiday party.  Back by popular demand is a Holiday Bazaar featuring our grant and community partners.  Please also mark your calendars for our winter event on March 7th.  The Education Team is convening a panel of community leaders who work with transitioning veterans and their families.  We will hear about the challenges transitioning veterans and their families face and the organizations working to improve the outcomes.
We wish you all a lovely Thanksgiving holiday and look forward to seeing you in December.

All the best,
Morgan Justice Black and Sabrina Martucci Johnson
