Fall is in the air! Great time to take an aviation "stroll" to see the fall colors!

And if you absolutely have to take a car, pack a lunch, head up to Estes and listen to the elk bugle.
"If you push the stick forward, the houses get bigger. If you push the stick backward, they get smaller. That is, unless you keep pulling the stick back, then they get bigger again."

Beginning next month, the FAA is changing how runway rain and snow conditions are communicated.  We transition from a braking action description (e.g. "poor") to a runway condition code (0-6).  Read Steve's column for more information on this change.

FNL Pilots Association held a BBQ on Saturday, August 13.  It was a good time for our members to hang out with each other, eat some good burgers, and listen to Airport Manager Jason Licon tell us about what's going on at FNL.  Here's a summary of his talk.
