VOTE! and don't forget your affidavit.
The DDA board would like to thank everyone for their support. As we've gone around town and talked with businesses and property owners it is clear that improving and investing in our downtown is needed... and wanted.
BUT in order to make it happen now we do need you to VOTE! In order for your ballot to be valid you need to be sure to turn in an affidavit. You can pick up one up at Town Hall if you need one and they can notarize it there. Ballots are due April 5, 2016 at Nederland Town Hall.
If you are looking for information on the Debt Authorization it can be found at www.nederlanddowntown.org and the Ballot FAQ page.
Ballots can be returned via postal mail in the return envelope provided or dropped off at Town Hall during regular business hours (9:00AM – 5:00PM, Mon-Fri) and on Election Day, April 5th, from 7:00AM – 7:00PM. All ballots must be RECEIVED at Town Hall no later than 7:00PM on April 5th, 2016 in order to be counted.
If you didn't receive an affidavit and/or a ballot and you feel you should have, please contact the Town Clerk at laurajaneb@nederlandco.org or 303-258-3266.
Economic Development Task Force survey results and draft report
The Mayor’s Task Force on Economic Development, reconstituted in December 2012, has issued its draft recommendations after nearly 3 years of study and gathering community input via community meetings, events and surveying. The results of the survey that was done in 2015 are also included with this report. Town is soliciting feedback on the report so please take a minute to review the report and send comments to info@nederlandco.org.
