New social sciences for population health planning grants

Steven Hoffman, 2012 scholar and the scientific director of the Canadian Institute of Health Research's Institute of Population and Public Health, has announced 20 new planning grants to support social scientists working on population or public health. +

Two community members appointed to the Order of Canada

2014 mentors Clarence Louie and Marie-Lucie Morin were appointed members of the Order of Canada on 30 December. This honour recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community, and service to the nation. +
