Stewardship: Time, Talent, & Treasure
“It is well to give when asked, but it is better to give unasked, through understanding.” … Kahlil Gabran During these difficult and trying times we can be challenged to use our time, talent, and treasure to help others. Our church does need your donations to continue our work in the community and through Lunchtime Ministry. You may donate online @ www.stmatthewtrinity.org You may mail your donation into the office @ 57 8th Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030. We need everyone to come together and support each other. We need to be here for everyone when we come out of this pandemic. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” …2 Corinthians 9:7
Spread the Word on the St. Matthew Trinity Center
Brick by Brick! Step by Step! Day by Day! Keep this project in your prayers and help in whatever way you can. You may go online, www.stmatthewtrinity.org, to make a donation. It’s not too late! Spread the word. Tell your family and friends. This will be a very special and welcoming place to gather once we are able to be in groups once again. “In everything, do to others as you would have them do to you.”
Greetings from Lunchtime Ministry
We have been staying strong. For the past three weeks, we have provided everyone who comes in with food, coffee, and a pair of socks. In the next couple of weeks, we will be in need of SANDWICHES and CANNED SOUPS (pop tops are best!), which can be dropped off during our open hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to noon.
However, the best way to donate from home is to donate financially. Go to https://smt.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving and under "Designation," select "Lunch Time Ministry." Thanks for your support during this difficult time, and please stay safe!
Want to place an announcement in the Newsletter? Email Ellen in the office at Office@Stmatthewtrinity.org by Thursday at 10 AM each week to make sure it gets included!
