Lenten Discipline Leviticus 3:16 All Fat Belongs to the Lord
Each week after church in order to get a little more exercise, some of us will walk from the church to the top of Castle Point and back. Take a few minutes after church to exercise and meditate on the gift that is our bodies. And wear your tennis shoes!
Giving Envelopes Available
In an effort to save paper and to encourage online giving, we have not ordered a large amount of giving envelopes. Good news though, we do have boxes of giving envelopes available. If anyone wants weekly giving envelopes, please let Carol Cusack or Melissa Long know. See us at Church on Sundays, e-mail the church office, let Pastor Gary or anyone on Church Council know and we will get envelopes to you. You can also e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Stewardship: Generously sharing what has first been given to us
Give with a smile! We continue to show up in both presence and commitments. We are grateful that our church now has 25 pledges for 2020. We joyfully add new voices each week! For 2019 we had 26 pledges which was an increase from previous years. We are small but mighty and make a positive difference in Hoboken. Please add your voice so that we may share God’s word in our corner of the world. Every voice and pledge allows the Church Council to plan accordingly. Come join us as we walk humbly together and cement our footprint in Hoboken. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
…2 Corinthians 9:7 …2 Corinthians 9:7

Sunday Hospitality ~ Enjoy our abundance!

We Need Your Help to Keep The Prayer List Current
Please email me at Office@stmatthewtrinity.org to add and remove names from the prayer list. We will remove names after one month unless otherwise notified.
Spread the Word on the St. Matthew Trinity Center
Brick by Brick! Step by Step! Day by Day! Last week alone there were four more bricks donated to this fabulous project. There are flyers available or you may go online, www.stmatthewtrinity.org, to make a donation. It’s not too late! Spread the word. Tell your family and friends. Share with local businesses that may want to support a newly renovated space on Washington Street that will improve the neighborhood that we share. “In everything, do to others as you would have them do to you.” Matthew 7:12
Greetings from Lunchtime Ministry
Greetings from Lunchtime Ministry! This week we served 205 guests with the help of 20 volunteers. This week we enjoyed some delicious meals, including Italian sausage and peppers; and we had an Ash Wednesday service after lunch at LTM.
We continue to be in need of HAND SANITIZER (any size bottle), which can be dropped off during LTM hours and on Sunday mornings. Thanks for all you do to support this ministry!
Want to place an announcement in the Newsletter? Email Ellen in the office at Office@Stmatthewtrinity.org by Thursday at 10 AM each week to make sure it gets included!
