GRC Partners with Somali Journalists on POV Project
Journalists in Somalia try out wearable cameras for new project Through Somali Eyes, in which radio reporters in Mogadishu show the challenges of doing journalism in their country. Read more
Pilot for Global Alcoholism Project Gets Funded
Alcoholics Unanonymous receives funding from Movember and Peter Wall Institute to create an empowerment journalism project about alcohol dependence, in partnership with Indigenous communities. Read more
Nieman Reports on the Global Reporting Centre
GRC founder and executive director Peter Klein writes about how the centre breaks from the traditional model of "foreign correspondence" by fostering a grassroots approach to global reporting. Read more
Re-Imagining Global Reporting Workshop
Journalists and media innovators from all over the world met to brainstorm about the future of global reporting, and how the GRC can contribute to the journalism landscape. Read more


Out of the Shadows Reaches Global Audience 
Collaborative project with doctors, journalists and students - about global mental illness - won the Murrow, ONA and Digital Publishing awards, and is being developed into a major documentary. Read more
Largest Study of Fixers Concluded
Fixing Fixers, a largest global survey of the journalist-fixer relationship, has received overwhelming response from reporters, editors and fixers worldwide, with 450 participants. Report due out in the spring. Read more

Rare Disease Project Receives Accolades
Million Dollar Meds, a  collaborative  multimedia and interactive project between scholars and filmmakers about expensive drugs for rare diseases, won the Murrow and Webster awards. Read More
