A fairytale setting for some fun afternoon yoga in the woods right here in Guildford!

I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to spend time doing crazy fun stuff
like this - for my work!
The beautiful 'Yarn Bombing' on the tree done by Liz Hilton, and the stunning photography done by the amazingly talented Elizabeth Boyle!

SPRING IS HERE!!

Although it didn't feel like we had much of a Winter? Virtually no frost, or snow, I only got my hat & gloves out once I think! It is wonderful to be enjoying the longer days now, it is getting so much lighter in the mornings and evenings giving us the feeling that we have more hours in the day, more energy and vitality.

I have spoken a few times in my classes this month about Spring being such a beautiful time of year, not only for the longer days, warm sunshine and lovely evenings, but it is a time to perhaps re-visit your intentions for this year. You may have started 2016 on a roll with new ideas and inspirations, and then 'life' may have gotten in the way of these plans throwing you off course.....
Spring is a nice time to have a 'spring clean' of your life, chucking out old thought patterns and habits that you wish to be rid of, and get back on track with those things you want to do this year! Do things that you love! Do things that inspire you! Do things that make you feel happy :-)

What is it that you want for yourself, for your life this year?...........what are your intentions and aspirations?
I think most of you know how I like a chocolate treat....

I LOVE to cook & bake, (and make a huge mess in the kitchen!) and especially experiment with 'healthy' cake and sweet snack alternatives. This Chocolate Beetroot cake by Deliciously Ella is DIVINE!

See here for the recipe: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/healthy-recipes/11362916/Deliciously-Ellas-beetroot-chocolate-cake-with-coconut-frosting.html

Its a little bit of a faff with the steaming of the beetroot, but its so worth it! I kept it in the fridge and it lasted for ages. If you have finished up all your Easter eggs and need a chocolate fix - give this a go!

Tip: Make double the amount of icing suggested.....Mmmmmm! :-)

I am now teaching Mummy & Me Yoga classes at Red Hot Yoga!

Such a wonderful way to:
Get out of the house!
Bond with your baby
Slowly and carefully start to regain your strength and your connection to your core
Meet other mums in the local area
Enjoy something you can do for yourself with your baby in tow!

Hatha Yoga at Broadwater Community Centre

Every Wednesday

11.30am - 12.30pm

A gentle Hatha class designed to bring spaciousness to your body and mind, focusing on alignment and ending with a lovely relaxation.

It has a beautiful private garden - perfect for some outdoor yoga in the summer! We had a little trial last Wednesday as it was so sunny!

All levels welcome!

The hall is lovely and bright which is also very cosy and warm :-)

I provide yoga mats, blankets, blocks and straps, all you need is yourself!

Both my classes at Baden Hall (Saturday mornings 9am - 10am) and Broadwater Community Centre offer 'First class is free' so you can come and try out the class to see if you like it!
I went to a beautiful, empowering, fun and uplifting day retreat in London, at the Ace Hotel, Shoreditch - with a view right across the city from the 7th floor!!
It was organised by the awesome duo that is '108 London' Jessica & Amisha and led by Tanya Markul (a dear friend from Copenhagen) and Susanna Harwood Rubin.

It was a truly awesome day, filled with meditation, asana practice, chanting, creative writing, pranic healing, laughter, love and such a wonderful community spirit.

If you are interested in checking out any of these wonderful ladies for events, teachings, retreats, or just some inspiring creativity - please see here for more details:
