Dressage series

Thank you to everyone who supported the first in the dressage series in aid of Sallyanne Haige. We received some really great feedback from competitors and have had fantastic praise for all our willing helpers!

The next event will be on Sunday 22 May at Burrows Court Farm, with the final event happening on Sunday 7 August. It would be great to see both returning and new competitors supporting this event. Classes include Intro, Prelim and Novice.

So far we've raised over £500. ACJ Photography will be taking photos at all the events and has kindly offered to donate money from photos ordered to the fund.

Have your say - BHS consultation

The Education Team at the British Horse Society are undertaking a massive research project to better understand the needs of those with interests in equine education matters.

They want to know what's important to recreational riders, instructors, students, employers, centre owners - whether or not they have anything to do with the BHS - to inform their education programme.

You can take part in the consultation by completing their survey online. Participants will be entered into a draw where they can win BHS merchandise.

Have you done your hours yet?

Thanks to everyone whose already got their volunteer hours in. Don't forget you must complete at least four hours of help every club year as part of your membership agreement.

You can help at any club event including rallies, there are also opportunities at area events we're running, or need to provide helpers for. Contact a member of the committee if there's a particular event you'd like to volunteer for.

If you've said you'll help please turn up or give plenty notice if you can't make it - we rely on your support and it's a lot of work to keep events running smoothly.
