NEW PROJECTS SPOTLIGHT:

CCMUA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT  (Camden, NJ)
After a successful SHARC installation at the Sechelt Water Resource Centre we are excited to announce our next project at a wastewater treatment plant; this time in Camden County, New Jersey. The SHARC will produce 1.3 M BTU/hr that will heat the building by extracting energy from inflowing sewage.  Federal and state grants totalling $1.3M USD were made available to help retrofit this facility with more energy efficient equipment.

Quick Facts:
  • Camden has a population ~500,000 and is 226 square miles in area.
  • The building treats 58 million gallons (220 million liters) of sewage per day.
  • Sewage flow travels through 135 miles (215 km) of pipe assisted by 27 pump stations.
