New Year's Shipment

On January 1, two barrels were picked up which included 18,758 handmade rosaries, 200 Children's Rosary books, 20 Child Consecration books, and 20 welcome letters. These materials will go via a freight vessel to Tanzania, a journey that may take up to six months.
We extend a special "thank you" to those who made these rosaries with love. If you would like to contribute to shipping costs for future barrels, your monetary donation would help tremendously. To make a donation, click HERE.

Children's Rosary in Kenya

Recently, Br. Cleophus Sindiga (shown above in the white shirt) made the journey from central Kenya to Tanzania to retrieve rosaries and Children's Rosary materials we had sent which arrived in December. He used these materials for existing Children's Rosary groups in the Sultan Hamud region of Kenya. This past weekend he also made the long journey to Mombasa, which is along the coast, to bring materials to our Children's Rosary groups there.

In addition, he made a visit to Shanzu Josma Junior school. Br. Daniel Schrempp, whom we met this summer, is a seminarian at Heilingenkreuz Seminary in Austria and was excited to see the Children's Rosary introduced to a school run by the religious order he has joined. Thus, this visit was a collaborative effort with the initial introduction made to the school by Br. Daniel Schrempp, and importantly was followed up with the most recent visit by Br. Cleophus from Kenya. Br. Cleophus was able to share with the school Children's Rosary books and also 700 rosaries.

New Children's Rosary in Kilkenny, Ireland

We are excited to share a recent picture from the new Children's Rosary at St. Fiacre's Church, Loughboy, Kilkenny, Ireland. They held their first meeting on December 1, 2022. They meet every Thursday evening. We welcome these children in a special way to the Children's Rosary!
The Children's Rosary at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hartford, Connecticut, met for their monthly meeting on January 8, 2023. A tiny nativity scene was set up. As six-year-old Abigail entered the chapel, she immediately saw the Holy Family statues and carried over a gift she had brought. It was a tiny soccer ball for baby Jesus. She positioned Jesus with the ball between his arms (see above). As we began the prayers, she returned Baby Jesus to his crib and put the soccer ball beside Him. It was a beautiful expression of love from one of the children and surely meant a lot to Our Lord.

Children's Rosary in St. Patrick's Church, Celbridge, Ireland

The Children's Rosary at St. Patrick's in Celbridge recently celebrated their one year anniversary of meeting. We received a note from the group leader included here:
Here are some images from the weekly Children's Rosary in St Patrick's Church, Celbridge, County Kildare (Archdiocese of Dublin).
I have got the parents permission to share these images. The altar with the display of words was arranged by the children last week. One of my teacher friends in school designs the words for me. One word reads "Creeslough". It's the name of a small village in Donegal, North West Ireland, where on October 7th 2022, there was a terrible gas explosion just at 3pm and 10 people across all ages from 6 - 80s were killed. It was a dreadful incident which affected everybody. We have been remembering the victims and their families in the Children's Rosary each week. The girls love the Rosary and there's a feel good factor afterwards.

Below are some thoughts shared by the children who participate.

New Children's Rosary at Heroldsbach Shrine in Germany

A new Children's Rosary has formed at Heroldsbach Shrine in Germany. They had their first meeting on January 7, 2023. Twenty children attended. Some families drove up to 100 miles to attend the meeting. Children took turns approaching the altar to place roses before Our Lady at the end of each decade of the Rosary as is shown above.

New Children's Rosary in Fulda, Germany

A new Children's Rosary group also has begun in Fulda, Germany, in the Fatima Chapel pictured above. It has been encouraging to see the new groups forming in Germany!

This was filmed in Birmingham, Alabama at a school that has been holding a weekly school-wide Children's Rosary since May of 2017. The kids help to demonstrate how meetings can be held in the classroom, in a chapel and outside. VIEW VIDEO HERE.
