Unprecedented. Challenging. Stressful. Tumultuous. These are just a few of the words that come to mind when thinking about the past 5-6 months. It is important to remember though, that we are not alone! Isaiah 41:10 tells us not to be discouraged. If we put our faith in the Lord, he will strengthen and help us. With the Lord, our family, and friends, we're all in this together!
Here at Covenant Ability Network of Michigan (CANMI), the Lord has blessed us with good health, as all of the residents we serve and our staff have remained free of the symptoms of the coronavirus. While the residents' daily routines have been impacted this year--from fewer hours spent working and volunteering, to a disruption in day programming--they have kept remarkably positive throughout, and are happy that some of their activities have recently resumed.
Our ministry has been affected from a financial standpoint. Because of COVID-19, we had to cancel both of our fundraising events this year, which we had projected would raise approximately $40,000 in much-needed revenue. We prayerfully ask that you consider making a gift to help keep CANMI financially sustainable during this uncertain time.
Donations may be sent via check (made out to "CANMI") to 862 Forest Park Rd., Muskegon, MI 49441.
