Weekly Lodging Sector Update
 
Slowly but surely, occupancy continues to climb in China and the U.S., reaching respective levels of 45.7% and 36.6% during the week ending with May 30. Europe, on the other hand, has not seen much growth week to week with lockdown measures still in place.
Highlighting U.S. data last week, three submarkets showed a year-over-year increase in occupancy for the weekend of May 29-30. The two Florida submarkets included in the above table received an obvious boost from SpaceX launch activities on Saturday.
