The Revenue Manager - Episode 8: What's New in the Toolbox?

Presented by FunnelTV and Hospitality Net. Speakers include CHR board members, Kelly McGuire and Cendyn, along with other industry experts.

U.S. hotel occupancy for July 4-10 (67.2%) improved from the prior week but was still lower than the pandemic-era highs seen during June. However, ADR grew to $139.84, which was the highest weekly level in history and more than $7 higher (5.4%) than the 2019 comparable. Inflation aside, hoteliers are taking advantage of pent-up leisure demand and higher spending travelers all while trying to counter staffing shortages and rising operational costs in some regions. Additionally, with demand mostly transient, there is not the usual lowering effect of discounted group rates at the higher end of the market.
