Over 300 attendees were able to sit in on nearly 30 sessions held by our CIHLER Advisory Board Members as well as industry experts to give a “boots on the ground” perspective on all the changes and what the future might hold for the hospitality labor market. 2022 attendee Roy Walker, VP of Sales and Hospitality, ATS at Harri shared a fantastic summary of the sessions here! Thank you Roy for such a thoughtful review of our conference!

There were so many memorable moments from this year's conference, but a highlight was presenting Alan Momeyer, Chief Human Resource Officer, Emeritus, Loews Corporation with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his immeasurable contributions to the field of Hospitality Human Resources.
I would like to take a moment to recognize all of our presenters and sponsors for your generosity of time and financial support. We owe so much of the success to your presentations and content, so again, a huge thank you!

I would be remiss if I did not thank the team at Loews Miami Beach Hotel who were the ideal partners planning and executing this event, offering superior service and hospitality from beginning to end. And lastly, I would like to thank the Cornell Conference Team, Mark Yeager, Sam Issa and Natalie Oldfield for keeping us all on track and organized this year!
In addition to the conference, CIHLER continues to stay on top of the labor and employment issues in hospitality. In February, we hosted the 10th Annual Labor Relations Roundtable event at The Ray Hotel in Delray Beach, FL. Our board members had robust and lively discussions around expanding labor and employment laws, collective bargaining agreements expiring, and, of course, a labor shortage.
We look forward to a full slate of in-person events this year, covering topics such as: union management negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, and the effects of the evolving political and legal landscape on labor and employment relations.
