U.S. hotel performance came in higher than any other Thanksgiving week on record. The country’s 53.0% occupancy level was 4.6% higher than the 2019 comparable, while U.S. average daily rate (ADR) of $128.41 was a 14.3% increase from the corresponding holiday week in 2019.
Amid rising COVID-19 cases, European markets that have imposed new restrictions have seen a drop in hotel occupancy over the last two weeks.
