Black & Redd Solutions is set to embark on a 14 day, 5 country trip to Asia with the goal of continuing to narrow the gap between the region and the United States specifically in the Food & Beverage category. Be sure to follow Black & Redd Solutions on Facebook for pictures and updates throughout the trip (www.facebook.com/blackandredd)!
B&R remains highly focused on Asia and is committed to brands from the continent and their aspirations for U.S. expansion. Black & Redd is currently working with some of the largest companies in the area on their entrance strategies and continues to attract new clients based on a shared vision and focused strategy.
As presented in the April edition of the Black & Redd Newsletter, Asian influence in the F&B category in the United States continues to grow faster than any other segment. The trip leaves from Los Angeles International Airport and will include stops in Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur before returning to the United States. With meetings set in each country, a highlight of the trip will be attending the 2015 THAIFEX World of Food - Asia annual conference. The show is hosted by the Thai Chamber of Commerce and will feature 1,463 exhibiting companies from 35 different nations. Black & Redd Solutions is focused on positioning current clients within the THAIFEX network, as well as attracting new clients looking to enter the United States.
The targeted area (Asia) contains:
- 4.2 billion people (roughly 60% of the worlds population)
- The largest city in Asia (Tokyo) with a population of 14,000,000 people
- Provides 190 out of the Fortune's Global 500 list (2 less than U.S., Germany, and France combined)
At Black & Redd Solutions we feel there is a rather significant gap between the high number of quality Asian companies and the much lower number of organizations that have attempted a U.S. entry. With Asian cuisine, culture, and significance continuing to rise, expansion is at all-time highs.
