Dear U of MN Medical Reserve Corps Members,
As we near the end of the traditional academic calendar, our thoughts turn to summer activities; both recreational and professional in nature.
Professionally speaking, Office of Emergency Response staff will be partnering with Boynton Mental Health Services and University Student Counseling services to stage an important disaster behavioral health response exercise, scheduled for Tuesday, August 9.
On the recreation side, I plan on spending many hours on my bike preparing for my second triathlon and playing in the dirt to beautify my gardens while my black lab supervises from a shady spot in our yard.
Whatever your summer plans are shaping up to be, I wish you many hours of relaxation and revitalization with the people, pets, and activities that inspire and invigorate you.
Warm regards,
Kathy
