Transitioning to Fall
Finally, the weather is helping us to avoid the feeling of being trapped in "Groundhog Day" and we're welcoming the change of scenery, outdoor activities, and new opportunities on the horizon. The throngs of tourists, usually just an inconvenience to us, have proved daunting with the pandemic and we're glad to have more of our outdoor activities back to relative peace and quiet for a few weeks. We know we're being selfish and constantly consider how blessed we are to live where we do and wish that those less fortunate could experience our same pleasures. We can't imagine how tough life is now for some and continue to do our best to help bring life back to normal for all.
While we don't have trips to shows or visits to and from family on our calendars, we do have house and yard projects related to fall to serve as distractions. Other than our nearby lake, we've not ventured from home due to the virus and mechanical issues with our van. We have just returned from a long-anticipated camping trip and so enjoyed the time away and hope the change in seasons brings each of you blessings!
Rachelle finally got to enjoy paddleboarding!
