Show Season Again!
Dear Friend,
They never get old! After 30 years of doing shows, it is always a thrill to go to new places, meet new friends and reconnect with existing ones. We did just that this past month when we traveled to Colorado to visit friends and attend the opening of the American Women Artists exhibition at the Steamboat Springs Art Museum.
The weather was delightful and the experiences amazing as you can read on previous blogs highlighting our time there. Rachelle was pleased to be informed that her painting had sold immediately upon the opening of the exhibition and she was delighted to get to see several dear friends not seen in years.
Wes spent part of the time during the trip working to process and organize what remains of the physical archives of the Society of Animal Artists. He was like a kid in a candy store going through the files and has continued to organize them now that everything has been shipped to our home in Tennessee.
We have several shows and exhibitions opening soon and are looking forward to being back in Thomasville, GA once again for the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival this November.
