Dear Friend,

WOW! Our opening at Brookgreen Gardens was a HUGE success and so much fun. We never tire of the excitement of talking about miniature art with the public and it is always especially exciting with those who have never encountered it before. The Opening Reception (Photo below) was standing room only and we were so busily engaged with the public Rachelle completely overlooked eating and Wes managed just a few bites in between conversations. The public Gallery Walk (Above photo) the next day also started as soon as we walked in the door with questions from eager attendees. Robin didn't even get a chance to introduce us! Check out the blog and video links below for highlights of our time there in South Carolina.

A REALLY FUN ARTICLE!
Siegrist article in The Tennessee Magazine
A special thanks to Ron Bell at The Tennessee Magazine for such a delightful interview with us. He and his wife, Deana, spent several hours with us and did a fabulous job capturing an overview of our lives and career.  You can read the article by clicking on the spread above.

A Big Night For Small Works with the SiegristsYou have an opportunity this month to watch us demonstrate our miniature painting techniques at a new event to SEWE. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the image to the left that will take you to SEWE's website. We will both be working on two different paintings at various stages of completion to give attendees a better grasp of our intricate process of creating our tiny treasures.

We will have other works available for purchase on display that evening along with miniature and small works by fellow artists at SEWE.

If you cannot make this special event we hope you can come to see us during regular show hours. Brookgreen Gardens is just an hour and a half up the road from Charleston so you can combine the two to take in close to 100 of our available paintings! In addition to our usual wildlife and landscape scenes on display at SEWE, Brookgreen has marine, still life, interior, portraiture and architectural paintings by us on view. Did we mention Brookgreen's sculpture collection is one of the largest in the world and the gardens are breathtaking? We hope to see each of you at SEWE or another event this year! ~ Wes & Rachelle
