Our friend & ambassador, Rajasi opened a cloth pad of ours which she had been using for the past two years...look at how clean and white those inside layers are!
This shows that the inside layers of cloth pads can be kept perfectly clean and hygienic. You can see her full Facebook post here.
We're passionate about sourcing and producing quality pads as ethically as possible. Read more about Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification HERE.
In April, Cassidy, Marnie & Amy drove 2600km from Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) to Cochin (Kerala) in a custom painted rickety rickshaw for Eco Femme as part of the infamous Rickshaw Run. They raised awareness of our work & also raised a cool 650 Canadian dollars for our Pad for Pad program! This buys 355 pads which will be distributed to 88 girls during menstrual education sessions in government schools! Thank you!
In May we teamed up with Feminism In India (FII) as well as other leading brands in a month long campaign on sustainable menstruation in the lead up to Menstrual Hygiene Day on the 28th. This campaign generated some fantastic articles, head over to our BLOG for a full list of links.
