Just a warning. Dave's internet went out of service about half way through the presentation. While he was reconnecting Lee Nichols described the "mole staging" area of his Utah Colorado Western. Dave returned with the remaining half of his presentation after Lee finished. Dave also posted a PDF copy of his slides here

NMRA-X is the "virtual convention" put together by Gordy Robinson and several other volunteers. The most recent updated information is on the NMRA facebook group. Membership is free. The actual Live event is on the NMRA Facebook PAGE not the group. You don't need to be a member of Facebook to watch. In the future, the live events will be simulcast on the NMRA's YouTube page. The clinics are recorded and posted on the NMRA YouTube page a few days after the live event.

The Opsig has been hosting weekly clinics via Zoom. Membership is not required. Information on the live and past events is on the Opsig web page. Events are recorded and posted on YouTube. I'll just include the single link to the Opsig page. The descriptions and links to the individual events can be found there.

The Twin Cities Model Rails group has held several clinics and layout tours as Facebook Live events. These have all been recorded and are on the William Sampson's "Soo the Milwaukee Road" Youtube Channel. The first six layout tours are in this playlist.

Next Meeting

- We are again going to replace our in-person January get-together at the Papillion Library with a ZOOM video call.

The Saturday, January 9th Zoom session number for this month's meeting is 815 4446 7887 and the password is WHDNMRA.

The Zoom session will begin at 9:00 am. When you join the ZOOM call on Saturday, January 9th, you will be directed to a "waiting room" and allowed access to our meeting by the zoom call host. The session will last no longer than two and a half hours.

THIS MONTH: Bob Albano will present a short clinic on creating scrap metal gondola loads.

Rick Stone will give us some background on what factors drove him to decide to model Columbus, Ohio on home HO layout.

After Rick's presentation we will open it up for layout updates from WHD members.

We are soliciting volunteers for a short presentation for our Zoom calls! Please let us know if you want to show us your layout or if you have a clinic topic you would like to present at one of our monthly get-togethers.

FEBRUARY 6th: George Sinos will give a presentation on how to transition from traditional car cards to JMRI Operations Pro. "FROM CAR CARDS TO OPSPRO MANIFESTS".

MARCH 6th: Paul DeLuca will give an overview of his NEW YORK CENTRAL HUDSON RIVER DIVISION RR including latest updates and additions.

APRIL 3rd: Steve Rodie will give an overview of his new MONTANA and COLORADO SOUTHERN RR layout and including a demonstration of a train climbing and descending his new mountain grade.
